Gantries are a combination of several linear axes to realise a multi-dimensional movement. In combination with an Igus area gantry, a Z-axis specially adapted to higher payloads works, enabling handling weights of up to 25 kg.
Application examples for the area gantry: Handling and assembly technology, handling of components weighing up to 25 kg, e.g. palletising and depalletising as well as general handling tasks
